John is from Los Angeles, California. He attended University of California – Santa Barbara. In 1977, he founded Original World Products (OWP) in New York City. He served as an executive at OWP for 33 years, developing multiple products and retail sales venues. He is currently active as a real estate investor, developer and manager. John was married to Tokie Oda in 1982. They live in northern New Jersey where they raised two boys and two girls. They now enjoy spending time with their two grandsons.
